Sandbox escape via ANGLE out-of-bounds write
Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in ANGLE in Google Chrome for Mac before 150.0.7871.46 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox via crafted HTML. Google identifies the failing component and memory operation, but the restricted Chromium issue does not disclose the affected function or how HTML input drives the write. A victim must load the crafted page; successful exploitation crosses Chrome's sandbox boundary and affects data and system operation beyond it.
