Store disconnection via unchecked ec_disconnect action
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Missing authorization in Ecwid by Lightspeed Ecommerce Shopping Cart before 7.0.9 allows remote authenticated users to disconnect a store. The ec_disconnect admin-post handler accepts a GET request without a capability check or nonce and clears ecwid_oauth_token while resetting ecwid_store_id. Subscriber access is sufficient; a connected production store then reverts to the demo storefront until an administrator reconnects it.
