Unauthenticated gateway bypass via request-supplied availability lists
Published Jul 31, 2026 · Updated Jul 31, 2026
Missing authorization in GiveWP before 4.16.3 allows remote attackers to complete donations through administrator-disabled gateways. Donation processing trusts the request-supplied gateways and gateways_v3 arrays as the available gateway set, allowing a disabled manual gateway to pass validation and create a published payment row. A published donation form is required, but no account is needed; exploitation records a donation through a gateway the site operator intentionally disabled.
