Administrator code execution via stored include path
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Local file inclusion in Marcus Sykes Events Manager 7.3.7.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute server-side PHP. em_options_save accepts traversal-bearing dbem_data[updates] array keys, stores them, and later passes each path to include_once during admin_init. Administrator access is required to plant the path; later admin-ajax.php requests trigger inclusion, with code execution limited to an includable PHP file.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
