Subscriber-level RCE via upload allowlist manipulation
Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in ThemeComplete Extra Checkout Options 2.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The eco_save_settings() function accepts Subscriber-level changes to the tc_eco_custom_file_types allowlist without authorization or nonce validation, and wc_eco_upload_file then accepts a PHP file with a frontend upload nonce. Subscriber access and a cart or checkout page exposing that nonce are sufficient to upload server-executable PHP and obtain remote code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
