Protected-file disclosure via reusable bearer token
Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026
Access-control failure in W3 Eden WordPress Download Manager before 3.3.62 allows remote attackers to read protected files via a leaked key. Temporary download-token lookup accepts _wpdmkey as a global bearer token without binding it to the originating session and permits repeated use. A valid key must first leak from an authorized role-, password-, or CAPTCHA-unlocked download; fresh cookie-less sessions can then retrieve the file repeatedly.
