Stored XSS via unsanitized Dynamic Repeater bindings
Published Aug 15, 2026 · Updated Aug 15, 2026
Stored XSS in Dudaster ECS before 4.3.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through Dynamic Repeater bindings. The AJAX save handler accepts a Contributor-controlled post ID and data-source values without capability, ownership, or sanitization checks, then writes them into widget settings that render unescaped. A Contributor account and a victim page view are required; the payload runs in visitors' or administrators' browser sessions.
