Authenticated code execution via unrestricted logo upload
Published Jan 26, 2026 · Updated Jan 26, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Code Projects Online Examination System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute server-side PHP code. The Change Picture handler in /onexam/admin_pic.php accepts a replacement logo without restricting file types, permitting upload and invocation of a PHP web shell. Authenticated access to that administrative feature is required, and resulting commands run with the web server process permissions.
