Administrator-session script execution via unencoded post title
Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026
Stored XSS in StoreApps Smart Manager before 8.92.0 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The Posts grid endpoint returns a Contributor-controlled post title with only JSON escaping, and the client inserts it into a title attribute through innerHTML without HTML-attribute encoding. Exploitation requires Contributor access and an administrator to open the Posts grid and hover over the crafted title; the script then runs in the administrator session.
