Authentication bypass in self-managed Grafana OSS and Enterprise allows remote authenticated users to impersonate higher-privileged users. The Auth Proxy identity cache concatenates usernames and forwarded attributes without delimiters, allowing distinct identities to produce the same cache key. Exploitation requires identity caching with sync_ttl above zero, attacker-controlled attributes, and a live higher-privileged entry; a collision grants that user's access, up to Administrator.
