CVE-2026-14196Network attack vector

Cross-vendor review tampering via missing ownership check

Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 19, 2026

Broken access control in WCFM Marketplace before 3.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to modify other vendors' store reviews via review actions. The review unapprove and delete paths accept a review identifier but do not confirm that the targeted review belongs to the requesting marketplace vendor before changing status or deleting the record. Vendor-level access is required, and the documented consequence is integrity-only cross-vendor tampering or permanent removal of store reviews rather than code execution or broader site takeover.
