Unauthenticated reflected XSS via decoded AJAX input
Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026
Reflected XSS in Sina Extension for Elementor before 3.10.2 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted AJAX request. The sina_load_more_posts handler decodes posts_data JSON after sanitization, restoring encoded angle brackets in read_more_text, then inserts that value unescaped into each returned read-more link. Exploitation requires a public Blogpost or Posts widget with a published post and a visitor to trigger the crafted request; script runs in that visitor's browser.
