Authenticated command execution via LightSensorControl injection
Published Jan 26, 2026 · Updated Jan 26, 2026
Command injection in D-Link DCS-700L firmware 1.03.09 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute device commands. The /setDayNightMode web form handler incorporates the LightSensorControl parameter into a command without neutralizing command syntax. Access requires high privileges; injected commands run in the camera firmware context, where they can alter device behavior or interrupt camera service.
