CVE-2026-14169Network attack vector

Account lockout via non-atomic user creation

Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026

Incorrect behavior order in ADS-TEC IRF1000 and IRF3000 firmware before 2.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to lock out accounts. The user-creation sequence processes crafted input in the wrong order, leaves account data inconsistent, and overwrites an existing user's password. A low-privileged role with user-management write access can overwrite administrator credentials and make device administration unavailable.
