Authenticated privilege escalation via unchecked configuration import
Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026
Incorrect authorization in ADS-TEC DVG-IRF routers before 2.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to make administrator-only changes. During configuration import, the proprietary configuration interface fails to enforce administrator authorization before applying imported settings, including user and permission-management changes. A low-privileged account with configuration-interface access is sufficient to alter protected device configuration and obtain administrator-level control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
