Same-origin policy bypass via StorageAccessAPI enforcement failure
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026
Policy bypass in StorageAccessAPI in Google Chrome before 150.0.7871.47 allows remote attackers to bypass the same-origin policy. Google's public advisory names StorageAccessAPI but does not disclose the failed policy check or code path because the linked issue remains restricted. A user must process the crafted page in a renderer that the remote attacker has already compromised; the disclosed consequence is limited to bypassing same-origin restrictions.
