Omnibox spoofing via crafted HTML page
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026
Insufficient data validation in Google Chrome for iOS before 150.0.7871.47 allows remote attackers to spoof the Omnibox via crafted HTML. The public record identifies the Omnibox display as the affected locus but does not disclose which HTML field or rendering operation is insufficiently validated. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted page, after which the address bar can present misleading origin information without code execution or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
