Omnibox spoofing
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026
Inappropriate implementation in Google Chrome Select on Mac before 150.0.7871.47 allows remote attackers to spoof the Omnibox via crafted HTML. Google has not published how the Select component handles page content incorrectly enough to alter the location presented in the URL bar. A user must open the attacker-controlled page, and the documented consequence is deceptive origin display rather than code execution, data access, or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
