Unauthenticated file upload via unchecked remote fetch
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Franchi Web Design Slider Future 1.0.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to place arbitrary files on the server. The slider_future_handle_image_upload function accepts a caller-supplied image URL and stores the fetched response under WordPress content without validating its file type. The REST upload route requires no authentication; server-executable uploads can enable code execution when the web server serves and interprets them.
