Local-network process-memory disclosure
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026
Use after free in Chromecast in Google Chrome before 150.0.7871.47 allows attackers to read process memory via a malicious peripheral. The public record identifies stale-object access in the Chromecast component, but the restricted Chromium issue does not disclose the freed object or operation that reuses it. Attackers must be on the local network segment and control a peripheral that reaches the component; the reported consequence is sensitive-memory disclosure only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
