Stored script execution via unescaped admin settings
Published Jan 28, 2026 · Updated Jan 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in WP Google Ad Manager Plugin 1.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via admin settings. The admin-settings path in WP-Google-Ad-Manager.php stores values without sufficient input sanitization and emits them without output escaping. Exploitation requires administrator privileges and is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled, allowing injected scripts to run when affected pages are viewed.
