Sandboxed code execution via HTML use-after-free
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026
Use after free in Chrome's HTML component before 150.0.7871.47 allows remote attackers to execute code inside the sandbox via crafted HTML. Google has not disclosed the affected object or the HTML code path that accesses it after release; the linked Chromium issue remains restricted. Exploitation requires user interaction with attacker-controlled HTML, and the published consequence is code execution confined to Chrome's sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Public exploit references
No public exploit references are available in this record.
