Heap buffer overflow in Chromecast in Google Chrome before 150.0.7871.47 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via malicious network traffic. Google identifies the flaw as a heap buffer overflow but keeps the underlying bug record restricted, so the faulty allocation or write is undisclosed. An attacker must reach the browser over an adjacent network; no Chrome credentials or user interaction are required, and successful exploitation runs code in the browser context.
