Improper input validation in WebAppInstalls in Google Chrome on Android before 150.0.7871.47 allows local users to bypass access controls. The component accepts values from a crafted HTML page without sufficient validation before applying discretionary-access-control decisions; implementation details remain restricted in the Chromium issue tracker. An attacker must be able to supply the crafted page locally on an Android device; the disclosed consequence is limited to bypassing discretionary access control, with no reported data disclosure or code execution.
