CVE-2026-13772Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unsafe OQL reflection

Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026

Unsafe reflection in IBM WebSphere eXtreme Scale's OQL engine 8.6.1.0 through 8.6.1.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via queries. The engine passes attacker-controlled class names to Class.forName() and invokes constructors without an allowlist in SELECT NEW, enum-literal, and reflection-comparator paths. Reachability requires a Simple Grid application that incorporates user input into an OQL query; Session Grid deployments do not exercise OQL, while successful exploitation runs arbitrary constructors on the WebSphere Application Server JVM.
