CVE-2026-13760

Host command execution via unescaped dependency versions

Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026

OS command injection in AWS CDK before 2.260.0 allows local users to execute commands through crafted dependency versions. The NodejsFunction Docker bundling path passes unescaped package.json version strings through OsCommand into a bash -c command inside the bundling container. Exploitation requires control of a listed nodeModules dependency version and a user to run CDK bundling; container bind mounts expose host files to the injected command.
