SQL injection via incorrectly escaped query inputs
Published Jun 29, 2026 · Updated Jun 29, 2026
SQL injection in Snowflake CLI before 3.19.0 allows context-dependent attackers to execute unintended SQL through crafted CLI inputs. Multiple command paths embedded unescaped or incorrectly escaped values into generated SQL, including connection-secret creation, SPCS service specifications and log/status arguments, FQN identifiers, and SHOW LIKE patterns. Crafted values must arrive through user-supplied arguments, malicious repository configuration, or compromised automation, and resulting database access is bounded by the active Snowflake session's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
