CVE-2026-13748

Local file exfiltration via unrestricted path resolution

Published Jun 29, 2026 · Updated Jun 29, 2026

Path traversal in Snowflake CLI before 3.19.0 allows attackers to exfiltrate local files through crafted project content. During deployment or SQL template processing, the CLI resolves project-supplied file references outside the project boundary, reads the referenced files, and uploads or embeds their contents in Snowflake artifacts. Exploitation requires a victim to process attacker-controlled content; recovering the data also requires access to query history, uploaded stages, or other resulting account artifacts.
