Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Jul 27, 2026 · Updated Jul 27, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Realtyna Organic IDX plugin + WPL Real Estate before 5.3.0 allows remote attackers to execute PHP code. The default-enabled I/O API's set_property command accepts a multipart file without validating its type, strips the required image_ prefix, and writes it beneath wp-content/uploads/WPL/. Shared hardcoded API keys and omission of the user parameter bypass per-user authentication, so no account or configuration change is required to execute code as the web server user.
