Unauthenticated workflow replay via expired transient bypass
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Missing authorization in Bit Apps Bit Form before 3.1.0 allows remote attackers to re-run configured workflows through an AJAX request. The bitforms_trigger_workflow handler accepts any nonempty trigger token after the entry's one-hour transient expires instead of verifying the supplied value. Exploitation requires a configured workflow, an exposed queued-path log identifier, an enumerable entry identifier, and an expired transient; successful requests repeat actions such as notifications and integrations.
