Second-factor bypass via unvalidated authentication provider
Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026
Authentication bypass in AyeCode Ltd UsersWP before 1.2.67 allows remote attackers with valid passwords to log in without a second factor. The two-factor login handler accepts a selected authentication provider without validating that it exists, so a missing provider skips the second-factor challenge. The target account must use WP 2FA integration, and the attacker must already know its username and password; the result is access as that account.
