Unauthenticated open redirect via unchecked redirect_to parameter
Published Feb 22, 2026 · Updated Feb 22, 2026
Open redirect in WPDeveloper Conditional CAPTCHA 4.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to send users to attacker-chosen sites. The CAPTCHA completion flow accepts the redirect_to value submitted to wp-comments-post.php and uses it as the post-CAPTCHA redirect without validating its destination. Exploitation requires comments to be enabled, a target post ID, and a user who submits the crafted comment form and solves the CAPTCHA, enabling phishing through a trusted site.
