Cross-patient record disclosure via missing ownership checks
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Authorization bypass in Iqonic Design KiviCare before 4.5.2 allows remote authenticated users to read other patients' billing and appointment data. Bill, encounter, and invoice-appointment access paths accept record identifiers without verifying that the requesting patient owns the referenced objects. Patient-level access is required, and the reported consequence is disclosure of cross-patient bills, invoices, and scheduling details.
