Code execution via unchecked PAR file length
Published Jan 27, 2026 · Updated Jan 27, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Delta Electronics ASDA-Soft 7.2.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted PAR file. The PAR-file parser copies user-supplied data into a stack buffer without first validating its length. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious file or visit a malicious page, after which code runs in the current process context.
