CVE-2026-1360Network attack vector

PHP object injection via unsafe XProfile deserialization

Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026

Deserialization of untrusted data in BuddyPress 14.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject PHP objects through XProfile fields. The bp_unserialize_profile_field() function passes user-controlled XProfile textbox data to @unserialize() without restricting allowed classes. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, but remote code execution also requires a usable PHP object chain in the WordPress environment.
