Unauthenticated SQL injection via list search
Published Aug 1, 2026 · Updated Aug 1, 2026
SQL injection in Participants Database before 2.7.8.4 allows remote attackers to read or alter WordPress database data via list search. The list-search query builder places a user-supplied search parameter into an SQL statement without adequate sanitization or escaping. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful injection exposes or modifies data available to the WordPress database account.
