CVE-2026-13592Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated memory corruption via incompatible attribute aliases

Published Jun 29, 2026 · Updated Jun 29, 2026

Out-of-bounds write in liftoff-sr CIPster allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via crafted EtherNet/IP explicit messages. A writable kCipUdint alias overwrites the start pointer in a shared ByteBuf header, after which byte-array handling trusts the enlarged range and copies beyond its backing allocation. Exploitation requires an API-enabled deployment that registers the same object under both mutable types; the demonstrated results are adjacent-memory writes and a process crash.
