Heap-buffer over-read in LLVM Project 22.1.0 through 22.1.6 allows local users to crash LLVM tools via crafted bitcode. GCRelocateInst::getBasePtr in llvm/lib/IR/IntrinsicInst.cpp adds an unchecked gc.relocate base index to an operand iterator and dereferences the resulting out-of-bounds llvm::Use. LLVM disputes security treatment because its tools are not hardened against malicious input; the demonstrated consequence is a process crash.
