Stack-based buffer overflow in Edimax EW-7478APC 1.04 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted PPPoE setup request. The formPPPoESetup POST handler processes an oversized pppUserName value without adequate length enforcement and overwrites a stack buffer. Access to the management interface is required; exploitation corrupts process memory, crashing the handler or redirecting control flow.
