Stack-based buffer overflow in Edimax EW-7478APC 1.04 allows remote authenticated users to crash the device via a crafted POST request. The formL2TPSetup handler passes attacker-controlled L2TPUserName data to strcat() without bounding the destination stack buffer. Access to the management handler is required; the public proof of concept demonstrates overflow triggering, while code execution is not established.
