OS command injection in the POST handler of Edimax EW-7478APC 1.04 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands. The formiNICbasic function at /goform/formiNICbasic incorporates the attacker-controlled rootAPmac value into an OS command without neutralizing command syntax. Valid credentials and network reachability to the handler are required, and the public record does not identify the command's execution privileges.
