Stored script execution via unneutralized report title
Published Jun 29, 2026 · Updated Jun 29, 2026
Stored XSS in CodeAstro Complaint Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The /report/addreport Report Handler stores the Report Title without effective output neutralization and renders the supplied value in the admin panel. A low-privileged user must submit a crafted report and an administrator must view it, allowing attacker-controlled JavaScript to modify data in that browser session.
