Database disclosure via unparameterized installer query
Published Jun 29, 2026 · Updated Jun 29, 2026
SQL injection in the YzmCMS installer in versions 7.0 through 7.5 allows remote attackers to read database data through siteurl. The installer reads siteurl from POST, trims it, concatenates it into an UPDATE statement, and executes it with PDO::exec without parameter binding. Exploitation requires access to the installation workflow, such as an absent cache/install.lock file, and error-based payloads disclose database contents.
