Authenticated SQL injection via concatenated emid parameter
Published Jun 29, 2026 · Updated Jun 29, 2026
SQL injection in CodeAstro Human Resource Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter HR data. The Update_Earn_Leave endpoint passes the emid POST value to Employee_model.php's emselectByCode(), which concatenates it into a quoted MySQL SELECT without binding or sanitization. An authenticated session is required; time-based blind payloads can confirm query execution and expose or modify data available to the application's database account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
