Authenticated service interruption via crafted indexed query

Denial of service in IBM Db2 11.5.0 through 11.5.9 and 12.1.0 through 12.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. The query compiler traps or returns SQLCODE -901 while compiling a specially crafted query that uses a defined index; IBM withholds the affected internal function and replication details. A valid database account and network access are required, and the reported consequence is server availability loss without data disclosure or modification.
