Unauthenticated post metadata disclosure via context injection
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
Missing authorization in Crocoblock JetFormBuilder 3.6.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose WordPress post metadata. The generator update REST endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled context value and passes its selected meta key to get_from_db, which returns distinct wp_postmeta values without authorization. A published form containing a get_from_db generator is required; public form content reveals the identifiers needed to read stored PII, paths, or secrets.
