CVE-2026-13433

Code execution via unverified centralized updates

Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026

Code download without integrity checks in Access Client Solutions from IBM 1.1.2.0 through 1.1.9.13 allows attackers to execute code. The centralized updater treats a timestamp change to any required file as an available update, then downloads executable acsbundle.jar from the configured enterprise server without an integrity check. Exploitation requires a configured centralized update location, attacker-controlled product files, and installation of the offered update on Linux, macOS, or Windows.
