Administrator-level code execution via trailing-dot upload
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in WPAzleen Post Export Import with Media 1.13.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The ZIP import allow-list passes raw entry names to pathinfo(), so a trailing dot yields an empty extension and skips rejection before extraction and copying. Administrator-level access is required, and execution depends on the uploaded file being executable from the WordPress uploads directory.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
