Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Stored XSS in NiteoThemes CMP – Coming Soon & Maintenance Plugin before 4.1.18 allows remote authenticated users to run arbitrary scripts. The plugin stores niteoCS_socialmedia settings without sanitization and renders them on the public coming-soon page without output escaping. Exploitation requires an administrator to expose CMP admin-bar controls to Editors; any visitor to the coming-soon page then executes the injected script.
