Unauthenticated taxonomy disclosure via unchecked AJAX action
Published Aug 26, 2026 · Updated Aug 26, 2026
Missing authorization in WP Royal Royal Addons for Elementor before 1.7.1066 allows remote attackers to read non-public taxonomy terms. The wpr_get_dependent_terms AJAX action accepts a caller-supplied taxonomy and returns matching term names and IDs without a capability or nonce check. No account is required, but disclosure requires a valid parent-term pivot and is limited to terms attached to published posts.
